Kate Moss's modelling ban

Kate Moss has banned her daughter from modelling until she turns 21.

The catwalk queen is happy for Lila Grace - her four-year-old daughter with ex-lover Jefferson Hack - to follow in her footsteps but doesn't want her to miss out on being a teenager.

Kate, who began modelling at just 14, told Glamour magazine: "Lila can't be a model until she is at least 21. She is already a mini-me, it's scary. She already has her own beauty kit!"

The 33-year-old supermodel, who recently split from troubled Babyshambles rocker Pete Doherty, also revealed she would have tried to become a rock star if she hadn't made it in the modelling world.

Kate - who recorded vocals on the Primal Scream song 'Some Velvet Morning', which features on the band's greatest hits album 'Dirty Hits' - said: "I would have wanted to a be a rock star, a lead singer, if I wasn't a model.

"I'd go touring in a bus with my band. In my next life that is the plan."

Last week, it was reported that Kate had been offered a record deal by Hit Factory music legend Pete Waterman.

Kate recently met the producer in a London bar and he is confident he can turn her into a chart-topping pop sensation.

Kate regularly appeared on stage with Babyshambles to duet on Pete's song 'La Belle et le Bete', when the pair were an item.
